NFL Power Rankings Week 13: Saints and Colts Stay Undefeated

Now, it’s time for NFLpower rankings week 13 and I’m ready to rank all 32 teams in our week 13 power rankings. The Monday night NFL game between the Patriots and Saints has just completed and the Saints make their statement.

We have reached week 13 with two unbeaten teams. The Indianapolis Colts and the New Orleans Saints have both beat the New England Patriots. The Saints and Colts are yet again in the top two spots, we can see two teams go 16-0 in the regular season. But at this point, the clear number one team in the league has to be Drew Brees and company.

In the week 13 NFL power rankings, there really isn’t any team more deserving of the top spot than the New Orleans Saints.

Week 13 NFL power rankings clearly show that it is going to be a tough path ahead for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Tennessee Titans, who won their fifth consecutive game with a fourth quarter comeback on Sunday afternoon.

Super Bowl Line and Odds 2010, Superbowl Picks & Predictions : Wild Card upsets have created a shakeup on the NFL future odds scene, as one of the big favourites from the pre-season, and a popular choice heading into the playoffs, the Patriots were eliminated. Also exiting stage right were the Cincinnati Bengals, the Philadelphia Eagles and in the wildest of the Wild Card games, the Green Bay Packers lost in overtime.

BetRepublic previewed all the first round matchups with picks from Sonny Palermo, Greg Dempson and Jarvis Simes, all expert NFL handicappers.

NFL Future Odds:

Teams ranked in the top 4 when oddsmakers drew up the original lines had the week off as they all earned a first round bye, but performances from Dallas and Arizona have caused second thoughts for some bettors about how the playoff picture could turn out.

NFL Underdogs ? Strength in Numbers

NFL Underdogs ? Strength in Numbers

Making money with NFL betting means sometimes risking money on teams who appear to be “down on their luck” and the odds are stacked against them. This week in the NFL, Week 11, it looks like there will be at least six home underdogs, potentially seven, depending what number your online sportsbook puts up for San Diego at Denver…so there are plenty of opportunities to be a “dog” bettor this Sunday.

While overall, the numbers when betting home dogs this year show a subpar 20-24 ATS (against the spread) record, stats from the past seven weeks alone can be looked at in a different light. In Week 7, road favorites went 7-0 straight up and ATS, but from Week’s 4 through 10 (not including the seven wins from Week 7), road favorites were just 11-11 straight-up, covering the spread only seven out of 22 times.

So betting the home dog in that span produced a 15-7 ATS record (68.2-percent), but why is it still so hard to pull the trigger on a

Nfl Football – Are You A Fan?

Regardless of what team you follow in the NFL, all fans have one thing in common – the love of the sport.  American Football and the NFL in particular is known and loved throughout America, and the world.  With the love of NFL football comes the pleasure of having your team and fellow fans unite to enjoy the sport, the atmosphere and the feeling of being a part of a massive following.

We all support our teams in various ways, and we all enjoy NFL Football to differing levels, but regardless of this we all still love to show our support for our team and announcing it to friends and family. We get the opportunity to do this in an endless list of ways from hanging a flag over our bed, drinking from our team’s mug and donning our team’s jersey. Despite how you follow your team and to what degree you love NFL football every fan feels at home when surrounded by the game, and the apparel of the sport.

Nfl – Cardinals are Considered the Underdog for the Super Bowl

The surprising and just two-time NFL Champion, the Arizona Cardinals are considered for some as the underdog of this year’s Super Bowl XLIII, which will be played on February 1st at Tampa, Florida. The Arizona Cardinals finished the regular season with a decent but not surprising record of 9 victories and 7 loses, winning the West division title. However, after classifying to the playoffs of the NFL, many expected them to lose in the first round against the Atlanta Falcons, but things didn’t happen the way people thought and the Cardinals defeated the Falcons in great way with a score of 30-24.

Even so, with people still not believing in the Cardinals game, they projected again that the Carolina Panthers in the following game would disqualify the team. Nevertheless, the Cardinals surprised everyone again by beating the Panthers with a shocking score of 33-13 at their favor. Getting into the NFC Championship, the Arizona Cardinals were

Silent Yet Deadly

We are less than one week away from Super Bowl XLIV, and with a little help from Saints Defensive Coordinator Greg Williams, things are beginning to heat up.

Sundays highly anticipated Quarterback match-up has gained an enormous amount of hype due to some recent comments by the Saints Defensive Coordinator and his players.  The Saints have targeted Colts Quarterback Peyton Manning in their recent remarks to the media.  In my opinion, come Sunday, the Saints will pay for these ill-fated remarks.

Coming off last Sundays NFC Championship game victory against Brett Favre and the Vikings, the Saints are apparently feeling a little too good about themselves.  Stemming from their recent remarks about the great Peyton Manning, expect the Indianapolis Colts Quarterback to play with somewhat of a chip on his shoulder this week in Miami.  This time, Greg Williams has gone too far.

NFL Network Schedule Direct TV ? It’s Game Time

=>> Watch the Video of NFL Network Here! <<

NFL network schedule direct TV can be seen start from Saturday Night at 7 p.m. The NFL Network’s broadcast of the Miami Dolphins-Tampa Bay Buccaneers pre-season game will be blacked out in South Florida. The game at Sun Life Stadium will be shown on WFOR-Channel 4 and WTVX-Channel 34. Kurt Warner has come full circle. No, he’s not back stocking Hy-Vee shelves. Rather the recently retired former NFL MVP will again be involved with the Arena Football League by serving as a game analyst for NFL Network during the league’s playoff games, including the Arena Bowl on Aug. 20.

Kurt Warner is returning to his Arena Football League roots. The recently retired NFL quarterback will call the Arena Bowl for NFL Network. Before he was a two-time NFL MVP, Warner was an AFL star. He led Iowa to Arena Bowl appearances in 1996 and 1997—then later played in three Super Bowls.

Sports News For 1/29/10

NFL NEWS

It’s official Kurt Warner QB for the Arizona Cardinals has just retired after 12 great years in the NFL. Warner was always one of the top professional NFL players on and off the field and spent a lot of his time during the off-season helping out with different charities. During his career Warner won two MVP awards, went to the Pro bowl 5 times and won the Super Bowl with the St. Louis Rams early in his career. Even though he had 2 years and million left on his contract, he felt this was the perfect time for him to walk away from the game.

The Cincinnati Bengals rookie LB Rey Maualuga has been arrested for DUI after he hit a parking meter and 2 park cars early this morning. But after learning about this the only thing that has me puzzled since athletes get DUI all the time is why is he still driving a 2003 Pontiac.

This Sunday night is the 2009-10 NFL Pro Bowl that will be held in Miami instead of the usually place Hawaii. Another

NFL Power Rankings – Week 17

BetRepublic.com NFL Power Rankings (Week 17)

Going out with a bang seems like a New York Giants kind of thing to do but while playing their final home game in Giants Stadium, someone must have misread the script. New York’s 32-point loss to Carolina on Sunday was the second biggest blowout in a team’s final home game at its stadium since 1970! Only the 1995 St. Louis Rams, who lost to San Francisco by 34 points before closing the doors to Busch Stadium for the last time, have lost by a bigger margin. Adding insult to injury, the Giants were also eliminated from the playoff hunt this weekend and to make matters even worse, the men in blue took a two-point drop in the weekly BetRepublic.com Power Rankings chart.

Here is the latest edition; note the shakeup in the Top 5!

BetRepublic.com Week 17 NFL Power Rankings

1. Indianapolis Colts – Manning takes a seat, Curtis ‘paints’ an ugly picture as backup and the Colts fall to 14-1 SU.
